Blessed And Not Stressed

Wow! Time has flown by these last couple days. From long flights, stomach flu, power outages and 103 degree weather, God has been so faithful. We arrived safely in Romania on Saturday night and by Sunday morning, we flew into preparation for camp. We had meetings to further understand the culture of Romania and then moved into the detailed lay out for the next week's camp. Monday morning we started setting up for camp around 9:30, the orphans began to arrive for camp. The orphans were ages 10-18 and our relationships with them slowly developed through the day. We did worship in Romanian, watched a skit, played water games and made crafts. I was so blessed to see how God worked so well in these last couple days. A specific way that I've seen God work was the way that His power goes beyond different culture and language barriers. I formed sweet relationships with many of the Romanian orphans as they taught me different Romanian words, played many games of rock paper scissors and so much more. I am already so grateful for the ways that the Lord has used us on this trip and I cannot wait to see what else He has inshore for us In the next two weeks.

Here are two ways you can be praying for the team and I:
1) Health for the team. With the extreme heat and sickness, the team needs prayer for the well being of each individual. Pray for protection against sickness as well as hydration and safety in such hot weather.
2) The continuing development of relationships with the kids coming to camp daily. The relationships with the team and the orphans has blossomed, pray that that continues and that the love of God grows brighter and brighter throughout the week.

Thankful to have a supporting team back home and I look forward to continue keeping you updated on God's work in Romania!
