Today was our first day of VBS, and God has already been working in every single place. From the games, worship, skits, crafts, and conversations, God has been blessing each activity. Something that I feel God has placed on my heart today is how every person is created in their own unique way. We are all different and have our own talents, and today we got to learn about those through our interactions with the kids. Some kids enjoy soccer, while some prefer coloring, and being able to experience their talents and connect with the things they are doing is truly a gift. Also, it is so cool how similar they are to us! Even though they speak a different language and grew up in totally different lives, we have similarities. We find this through music or TV shows and more, but the English they pick up from things is incredible! I also love how we are both helping each other learn each other's language, by us learning their bible verses in Romanian, and them learning some of our common words. The language barrier can be challenging at times, but it is about the actions and love we show that matter, building each other up with the love of Christ.
