Hey friends and family,
so many great things have happened on this mission trip so far. God is working through each of us on the team to connect with the orphans and loving on them. Jacob Mallery was able to teach someone how to do a backflip on the trampoline, Levi Geeting held the breaks for the zipline in the extreme heat, and everyone else has loved on the orphans by getting to know them more (with the help of Google Translate). We just finished our fourth day of VBS camp, and even though most of us on the team are a little exhausted, God is giving us the strength to keep going!
Thankfully no one has gotten terribly sick like last year, praise the Lord! Could you please pray that we would continue to stay healthy and energized for the rest of the trip, as we still have another VBS day tomorrow and then another VBS camp with two special needs orphanages next week. Please pray that the hearts of the orphans would be open to receiving the Gospel, and that the plans the enemy has for them would be replaced with God's plan.
