These past two weeks have been so impactful to me. I have been changed in so many different ways. I now have a different view on orphans and how hard of a life they have but how they can still have so much joy. It was very heartbreaking to see some of they kids wear the same clothes every day and to see how happy they were to have lunch knowing they probably don’t get that good of a meal in the orphanage. No matter what they were doing, from making a bracelet to worshipping, they just were so happy even though they don’t have much.
Thanks for this post. You are learning in two short weeks what probably takes much longer for many to realize just how rich we are here in the States. Your prayer life will also change as a result.
