Hello friends and family,

It’s been nearly a week since we left San Diego, and we have made so many memories since we hopped on that plane. After only one minor flight delay and countless travel hours, we made it to Romania’s capital, Bucharest. After spending the weekend in Bucharest, we made our way to a small town about two hours away, Nenciuleşti. By the time we made it here, a couple of us, including myself, got sick. Although I missed the first day of VBS because of this, I was able to jump in and help on Tuesday. I have been helping on the crafts team, where I have made various crafts alongside kids. On Tuesday, we made a hand that points to God. On Wednesday, we made and decorated wind socks that we hung up in the pavilion outside. Today we made crowns out of paper plates, representing that Jesus is king. Free time during the VBS with the kids has been filled with dance parties, friendship bracket making and zip lining.

I have loved connecting with the Romanian staff at heart to heart and learning their stories and seeing their joyful servant hearts. It has been so much fun to spend quality time with my team, both from EFCC and Romania, as we’ve played guess who, gone to the store and eaten dinner together.

It would be super sweet if you could pray for these things:

1. Energy as we are working long days in the sun.
2. Connections to form with the kids and leave an impact.
3. Health for our team, as many people have gotten sick this week.

Thank you so much for all of your prayer and support!
