Hello friends and family,
As I prepare to leave for Romania, I am so thankful for how the Lord has provided over these last few months leading up to this trip. Our team has been meeting for a while now and we have learned about, and discussed many topics so that we would be prepared for this trip which the Lord has called each one of us to. After reading the book "I Must Betray You" by Ruta Sepetys, I was able to better understand how Romania's history of communism still has an effect on the culture and lives of Romanians today.
I am excited to see how God will move in and through me on this trip, but I am also nervous to jump into something so different from what I am used to and what I know. I know that this trip will force me out of my comfort zone, but I also know that getting outside of your comfort zone is the only way to grow.
Please pray that God would prepare all of our hearts, give us peace, and keep us safe on this trip.
