Hello friends and family,
I leave for Romania tomorrow! After so much preparation I am very excited and a little nervous to go oversees and be Gods servant to the people of Romania. During our preparation I’ve learned so much about the history and culture of Romania by reading a book titled "I Must Betray You". This gave me a good picture of what Romania is like and all that they have gone through. It taught me so much about Romania’s history and how it still affects their culture today. I’m excited to connect with the kids and show them how much God loves them. I’m also excited to see how God’s going to work through us and be a light to the kids.
During this trip I will need lots of prayer, so here’s 3 ways you can pray for me:
Pray that everyone stays safe and healthy during the trip.
That we can form deep meaningful relationships with the kids and show Jesus’ love through us even though we can’t speak their language.
Prayer that our team can have good communication and stay energized throughout the trip.

I love the emphasis you make on SERVING. I think that will make a more lasting impression on them when they can sense that you are there to serve them and listen to them. I’ll look forward to your updates.
