Hey everyone! We leave for Romania in under two weeks!! Wow how the time has flown by. After months of preparation and planning I can say that I’m excited, if a little nervous, to go be Gods servant. I hope to see God in abundance while I’m there by focusing on Him constantly. I have loved learning about the culture and history of Romania through the book we read (I must betray you). It’s one of my favorite reads from this year that provided key insights on how Romania came out of communism and how that still affects their quiet culture today. We also spent some time in Ecclesiastes where it talks about how 2 is better than 1 and 3 is better than two (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). I hope to exemplify this kind of teamwork and inclusivity while there. Your prayers for good teamwork and communication would be greatly appreciated as well for the classic ones of travel, health and safety. I plan to update throughout the trip on what God is doing and how I’m feeling so watch out for those.
