I was starting to get anxious about finding enough of the right kinds of clothing for this trip. The more I fretted, the more He showed me that this was a new opportunity to trust Him. He reminded me that I don’t need to worry because He’ll meet my need for clothing over and above the manner in which he beautifully clothes the lilies of the field. (Mtt6.25-34)
As I shared this lesson with a friend, she told me that she had bags full of donated clothing that I could have first pick of! Our conversation happened the day before she was going to give all of the clothes away to a local store. After our conversation, she narrowed the section to a bag of items that fit the guidelines I’ve been given. I’ll pick up the clothes soon, will keep what I can use, and will pass the rest on to others. Wow! What a sweet lesson from Him.
